Beth, I feel your pain. It seems many of us are experencing difficult physical problems. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

No I don't have to stay off foot, I just have to be mindful of what I am doing.  I will just rotate my quilting time like I have been.  I just need to be sure and wear it when going outside and on uneven ground.  Plus ice and elevation when necessary.

Oh brother!! Will you have to stay off your feet too?

Oh let me whine please.  I had a fusion done on my greater toe in November last year.  Was released in February.  Foot was ok, slowly healing (apparently due to age they tell me).  Going along, it swells, painful, and still uncomfortable to walk on.  More so lately.  I had an appointment a few weeks ago and then canceled telling myself it is just me.  Went in yesterday because I just could not stand it anymore to find out I have a stress fracture in my second metatarsal joint.  To beat all!  This just sucks.  I am back into a walking boot for four weeks.  You know what this does to my gardening and yard work that needs done?  Frustrating because I like to do that kind of work.  Going to have to recruit some child labor.  My girls can out work any man I think.  I have seen them do it and they don't complain.  One more load of compost and two truck loads of loam soil.
Thank you for letting me vent.

Why is it so much easier to buy fabric than to get it all into a finished quilt?

Thank you Barbara.

Here she is.  Her quilt is all done, including the binding.  Done in two and a half days.  Think she did good. She even quilted it all herself.  I only guided her on what to do.  Good thing she works at the longarm quilt shop, she was able to use their machine.  I still have a customer quilt I can't get off the machine yet.
