Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
Starting January 2013- July 2013 This year the Round Robin is going to be the best yet! I have rounded up a few past designers, plus some new…super duper talented ones! Everyone has designed a row for the quilt in their own taste and talent for us to sew. We are responsible for picking fabric, sewing the rows with our own machine {no swapping or trading with this round robin}, and keeping up with everyone else! lol

So we can all keep track of what we have sewn, there is a Flickr Photo Gallery set up for the Round Robin. This is a great place to post photos of your progress– from fabric choice to final finish. We want to see it all! {this truly is the only way we can share since we don't live by each other- think of it as our spot for show and tell} I check it often and comment, so please share!

You will find the updated rows in the discussion area-- the links in the main post will take you to the designers blog, not to the pattern.

Comment by Becky Jorgensen on March 3, 2013 at 7:31pm I did go with winter style or cool modern fabrics. You can take a look at the rows so far and find something that would show the patterns off in a fun way. good luck!
Comment by Evelyn Boundy on March 3, 2013 at 10:50am If you type Round Robin in the search box on that site it goes to the pattern. It is the one with the snowflakes and red work.
Comment by Evelyn Boundy on March 2, 2013 at 5:06pm Just joined the group, Hi to everyone. I have done row 1 but did twice as many as I needed to. That's okay because I really like the row.I wish I knew how much background fabric we might need? May have to go scrappy.
I don't see the next blocks? what am I doning wrong?
Comment by Caren Eicke on February 11, 2013 at 1:28pm This is the first one of these I have done. I can't find any where that give an idea of how to choose fabric. Do we just use what we we want to each round and hope that it looks good when finished or are the some clues of what will look good somewhere? I can't seem to find the 2nd round either? Help this is confusing.
Comment by Caren Eicke on February 11, 2013 at 1:09am Becky, Thank you for your response, I can see it now and the links are working.
Comment by jackie harris on February 8, 2013 at 9:24pm Looks like to fun to me but also wondering about fabric.
Went looking for fabric today but kept thinking "winter wonderland" and could not quite decide. Love the name and would really like to keep with that theme
Comment by Becky Jorgensen on February 7, 2013 at 1:01am my hosting was down for a move-- sorry, everything was missing! ugh. It is back up and running. Hope you will still sew along.
Comment by Caren Eicke on February 6, 2013 at 2:23am Are there any hints to what kind of fabric works?
Comment by Ginny Lunsford on February 5, 2013 at 4:04pm I finally got caught up with other projects and plan to look for fabrics and get started on this. I'm wondering what fabrics to use, since it's winter related, or just use anything? Yours just look like regular modern fabrics.
