Patchwork Christmas in July block swap.  Patchwork or paper piecing, no applique or embroidery involved except for decoration purposes.   You choose the pattern you want to use, just make sure the fabric is Christmas prints. Blocks will need to be mailed to me by July 1st.

Each participant will need to make 12 blocks.  The blocks need to be 12 1/2" x 12 1/2".   Keep one for yourself and mail the others to me with a self addressed stamped envelope to receive your return blocks.  There is no limit to the number of participants as long as you get your blocks to me by July 1st. When you send in your 11 blocks, you will get back 11 blocks.  You may not get one from each participant, but you will get back 11 different blocks.

I’m doing  grandma’s star :)

I may do perpetual motion or ribbon star. I need a fussy cut center block.

Help me clean up my fabric stash so I can find enough fabric to join in the fun!

I’ll be right over lololol

I think I will do a water wheel. That will give me the center I need and still be interesting.

Here is my first block. The 4 patch squares will be different in several blocks because I will be using a Christmas jelly roll.

Very pretty, Connie

Beautiful block!

I like it, Connie.

I love that Connie

Like this block Connie. I think your upper right 4-patch may be turned? Not sure it that was the way the block is laid out or not...

I am doing water wheel. They will each have a little different fabrics for the four patches as I am making them scrappy and using up some mini squares I had. The centers will all have the cardinals in them.
