Email Notifications
Welcome once again to MyQuiltPlace. We hope you are enjoying your time here!
We have just added a new feature to the site which should be useful for you. As you've noticed, when you create a discussion, comment on a group, or participate in groups, you may be receiving email notifications. You can control the amount and types of email notifications you receive. Plus, you can now have those notifications consolidated into a single daily update.
Here's how to control your email notifications.
1. Click the "Settings" button in your control panel
2. Click the "Email" link
3. Decide whether you want instant or daily notifications
4. Decide which types of things you want to receive a notification
5. Click to Save

AQS-CAn you help me figure out how to post my picture on my profile,I've gone to my page and tried different things but I can't get the picture on.

Hi - we're very sorry you are having trouble. If you still want to give it a shot, please try this.
Go to your "My Place" page ( Click here ).
From this page, you should see the current profile photo of the AQS logo.
You should see the "Add Photo" bar on the image like the picture above. Click on the image/add photo area. This should open a page where you can control many aspects of your profile.
From this "My Settings" page, you can see all aspects of your profile - including your privacy and email settings. On the "Profile" - what you see in the above screen shot - you have a place to edit your photo. If you click the "browse" button, you should be able to locate the photo on your computer, and save it as your profile photo.
Don't forget to click the button to "save" at the bottom for the change to be made.

Please help. I am new to this site and really like what I see so far and it seems easy to navigate which is a big plus. I am having a problem with my settings, I can't find the email link you mentioned so I can set my email frequency and set My Quilt Place message notifications.

lf you're using a tablet or l-phone, you won't see the entire menu. I noticed settings etc. after l got my first E-mail notification on a discussion I'd replied to. After that l made a special folder in my hotmail account, and all things from My Quilt Place go there.l'm a coputor newbie, but stumble on things thru sheer luck:-)
